3T High-Resolution MRI provides advanced imaging quality when greater diagnostic detail is required. With double the magnetic strength of standard MRI systems, it delivers enhanced clarity and precision for evaluating complex anatomy and subtle abnormalities.

A 3T MRI is used only when clinically indicated. High-resolution imaging is often selected to avoid the need for an arthrogram MRI with contrast, particularly in musculoskeletal cases such as labral tears or shoulder instability/dislocation, where standard MRI may be insufficient.

All referrals are reviewed by our experienced radiology team on a case-by-case basis. The most appropriate scanner and protocol are chosen based on the clinical question, prior imaging, and diagnostic needs. This ensures that patients receive the right exam without unnecessary procedures or added cost.
